After tiring and often stressful shifts at the firehouse, the quiet comfort of an art pad and a jar of General’s pencils became a familiar morning escape... before evolving into a lifelong passion. Fully self-taught with an affinity for black and grey photorealism, Ashleigh is known to draw inspiration from some of her greatest loves— the darling corgis she shares with her significant other, a true crime obsession, and sweet home, Chicago. Featured in Chicagoist magazine as an artist to watch, she is regularly commissioned by private and commercial clients alike. While portraits are most frequently requested, custom creations are welcomed and encouraged.
